Well....duh"The Los Angeles Chargers have apparently

  •  exercised the 5th year option on Joey Bosa that they are allowed for 1st round picks. The 5th year option for Joey Bosa acts sort of like the Transition Tag. Players taken in the top 10 picks have their 5th year option salary set as the same price as the Transition Tag. That means Joey will be paid the average of the top 10 salaries for DEs. Looking back over the last 3 seasons Womens Travis Benjamin Jersey , 2017-2019, the Transition Tag for DEs has gone from $14M, to $14.2M, to $14.36M. So Bosa’s 5th year will likely be somewhere around $14.5M that will be fully guaranteed. That’s a healthy $6M raise over what Joey is set to make this year at just over $8M. If Joey comes out this year and has the kind of season we all expect him to have, that $14.5M will still be a discount. Melvin Ingram’s 4 year deal averages $16.25M a year, I’d expect Joey to be more than that...by a couple million a year. Long story short, this was a no brainer and a good move. He's a physical player. Again, he has a lot of special teams qualities that we need. We wanted to add to that group, add a little bit of speed, add a little bit of size. He's gonna contribute, he's gonna to add to the fabric of the team and he has the skillset to play. He's got the skillset to be an NFL starter and he won't stop, he won't relent, until he's accomplished that.”Social Media Information:BFTB Facebook Page: Click here to like our pageBFTB Twitter: Follow @BFTB_ChargersThe Lightning Round Twitter: Follow @Lightning_RoundThe Lightning Round Facebook: Click here to like our pageBFTB Manager: Richard Wade: Follow @RichardWade
